HISTORY
The term Naxalites comes from Naxalbari, a small village in West Bengal, where a section of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPM) led by Charu Majumdar, Kanu Sanyal and Jangal Santhal initiated a violent uprising in 1967. On May 18, 1967, the Siliguri Kishan Sabha, of which Jangal was the president, declared their readiness to adopt armed struggle to redistribute land to the landless.[8] The following week, a sharecropper near Naxalbari village was attacked by the landlord's men over a land dispute. On May 24, when a police team arrived to arrest the peasant leaders, they were ambushed by a group of tribals led by Jangal Santhal, and a police inspector was killed in a hail of arrows. This event encouraged many Santhal tribals and other poor people to join the movement and to start attacking local landlords.[6]
Charu Majumdar, inspired by the doctrines of Mao Zedong, provided ideological leadership for the Naxalbari movement, advocating that Indian peasants and lower class tribals overthrow the government and upper classes by force. A large number of urban elites were also attracted to the ideology, which spread through Majumdar's writings, particularly the 'Historic Eight Documents' which formed the basis of Naxalite ideology.[9] In 1967 Naxalites organized the All India Coordination Committee of Communist Revolutionaries (AICCCR), and later broke away from CPM. Violent uprisings were organized in several parts of the country. In 1969 the AICCCR gave birth to the Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) (CPI(ML)).
Practically all Naxalite groups trace their origin to the CPI(ML). A separate offshoot from the beginning was the Maoist Communist Centre, which evolved out of the Dakshin Desh-group. The MCC later fused with the People's War Group to form the Communist Party of India (Maoist). A third offshoot was that of the Andhra revolutionary communists, mainly represented by the UCCRI(ML), following the mass line legacy of T. Nagi Reddy, which broke with the AICCCR at an early stage.
During the 1970s the movement was fragmented into disputing factions. By 1980 it was estimated that around 30 Naxalite groups were active, with a combined membership of 30,000.[10] A 2004 Indian home ministry estimate puts numbers at that time as "9,300 hardcore underground cadre… [holding] around 6,500 regular weapons beside a large number of unlicensed country-made arms".[11] According to Judith Vidal-Hall (2006), "More recent figures put the strength of the movement at 15,000, and claim the guerrillas control an estimated one fifth of India's forests, as well as being active in 160 of the country's 604 administrative districts."[12] India's Research and Analysis Wing, believed in 2006 that 20,000 Naxals were involved in the growing insurgency.[4]
Today some Naxalite groups have become legal organisations participating in parliamentary elections, such as the Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) Liberation. Others, such as the Communist Party of India (Maoist) and the Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) Janashakti, are engaged in armed guerrilla struggles.
On 6 April, 2010 Naxalites launched the biggest assault in the history of the Naxalite movement by killing 76 security personnel. The attack was launched by up to[13][14] 1000 Naxalites in a well-planned attack, killing an estimated 76 CRPF policemen in two separate ambushes and wounding 50 others, in the jungles of Chattisgarh's Dantewada district.
MY TAKE
So,what is the solution to this menace?is it non violence or increasing the violent actions by involving army?My view represents a hybrid solution that comprises of violence, non violence and development.
I believe involving army will only help the naxalites to gain more public sympathy and due to the harsh operations of army, it will also outrage the public there.I think violent actions should not be improved as well as should not be decreased to retain thecivil support,at the same time, there should be non-violent negotiations should be commenced by government with the naxals.
Now the development part, why naxalites have grown so much in these past years ?It cannot be possible without civil support and public support came out because of lack of development in the aea.Unemployment, poverty, corruption and bad health services in the area has greatly outraged the public there.
the government has totally ignored the development of the area.I think by increasing the rate of development in the effected areas will help government in gaining publicsupport and aid and will also threaten the undemocratic throne of naxalites.

Iphone 4- a big boom in smartphones
After more than a month of waiting, the iOS 4 update has finally landed for our iDevices. If you haven't updated your phone already, take a break from reading this and go to iTunes on your computer and install the new update on your iPhone 3GS, 3G or the iPod Touch third or second generation. Because today, we are not going to tell whether the latest update for the iOS devices is worth downloading or not; the fact that it's great is given. We are just going to describe some of the new features that it brings in and it would be that much more easier to understand for you if you have a device ready with you, full updated as you read this. So, let us begin.
(From hereon, whenever we mention the iPhone, we are talking about the iOS devices excluding the iPad, unless mentioned specifically otherwise).
Multitasking:
After three years of coming up with its first iPhone, Apple has finally implemented multitasking in its mobile operating system. However, unlike Apple's desktop version, it works in a slightly different way. Apple prioritized device performance and battery life, which meant traditional means of multitasking could not be applied. In Apple's implementation, apps do not continue to run when they go in background. They merely suspend their activity until they are called back again. With a little something called Fast App Switching, applications are able to save their state and resume from that exact point where they stopped. If it is a game, it will even give you a little countdown before it starts again. Of course, the way the app resumes is completely dependent on how the developer implements the feature in his apps. Yes, multitasking on the iOS 4 is application dependent and if the developer does not take the effort to take advantage of the new API's that Apple is providing him then resuming that particular app would be no different than starting it from scratch.
Switching between apps on the iPhone can be done by double tapping the home button. I prefer this method to the press and hold method that other mobile platforms such as Symbian or Android implement. I'd rather press a button twice, thrice even if required but I hate having to press and hold, waiting for something to happen. Of course this also means that you can no longer assign a particular task to be performed when you double tap the home button as before (this function is still available though to iPhone 3G and iPod touch second generation devices as they lack multitasking).
When you double tap the Home button, the screen slides up, revealing a row of icons. These are the apps that are running in the background. You can swipe right to see more icons. However, we would have preferred if instead of arranging the icons horizontally and then swiping through them continuously, which can be quite tiring if a lot of them are running simultaneously (which is quite likely to happen), the icons had instead been stacked vertically in a grid, so they would have been quicker to access.
You can quit and application if you want to. Just press and hold and then the icons will start to wiggle and a minus sign will appear on them.
When you double tap to bring up the screen of running apps, the first screen that is shown is actually the second screen. The first screen is permanently assigned to the iPod application and the music playback keys. Also something that I've been wanting ever since I started using an iPhone: an orientation lock switch. The iPhone or iPod touch may not have a hardware button like the iPad, but this software switch is also good enough. However, unlike the iPad's switch it cannot lock the display in any orientation but just portrait mode. Unfortunately, the orientation lock switch is not available for the iPhone 3G and iPod touch second generation users, which is just ridiculous. Apple could have easily put that option somewhere in the settings menu and it would have still been fine compared to not having it at all.
Finally, there are the music keys, which actually can be used for any application that may be playing audio at the moment and not just the iPod player. They are quite handy, however, as I mentioned before, if you are not near the first group of apps on the multitasking row, you will have to swipe several times before you can reach them. The icon for the iPod app is also found here, which I thought was a bit unnecessary as the icon is already present in the list of running applications when the music is playing.
Another weird thing is that the row of icons in the multitasking tray only appear in portrait mode. So, if you rotate the phone in landscape orientation the icons do not rotate.

Ethical hacking & cyber security- upcoming priorities!!!!
How many times we have heard about Chinese hackers invading "Top secret" e-files of India? of course, many times but as we tend to to ignore it, the same does our cyber reluctant Government..
The hackers had aimed high - their targets were the cream of India's national security set-up: National Security Advisor M.K. Narayanan, Cabinet Secretary K.M. Chandrashekhar, PM's Special Envoy Shyam Saran and Deputy National Security Advisor Shekhar Dutt. The four and up to 26 others were squarely in the crosshairs of the hacking attempt.
So, what can we done to counterattack such problems?I think its high time that we should work on building a "Cyber army" in our country comprising of ethical hackers and computer experts. In addition to it, there is a need to strengthen our "just for book" cyber laws.
According to my view, its not the time to upgrade ourself more with nuclear weapons but its high time to build a world class system of cyber intelligence, security and army.

The Certified Ethical Hacker (C|EH) is a professional certification provided by the International Council of E-Commerce Consultants (EC-Council.)
An Ethical Hacker is one name given to a Penetration Tester. An ethical hacker is usually employed by an organization who trusts him to attempt to penetrate networks and/or computer systems, using the same methods as a hacker, for the purpose of finding and fixing computer security vulnerabilities. Illegal hacking (i.e.; gaining unauthorized access to computer systems) is a crime in most countries, but penetration testing done by request of the owner of the targeted system(s) or network(s) is not, except in Germany.
A Certified Ethical Hacker has obtained a certification in how to look for the weaknesses and vulnerabilities in target systems and uses the same knowledge and tools as a hacker.
"In this hi-tech era when everyone is on one or the other social networking site and everything is available online, we cannot take internet security for granted. Even our politicians and celebrities are not safe on the internet and in some cases it can also pose a serious national security threat,"Ankit Fadia, the first ehical hacker of india told the sources.
"Therefore we have to take steps by disseminating knowledge about these hackers and about ways to pre-empt them. In the 21st century, we surely need a strong workforce of ethical hackers and we cannot afford to ignore it at any cost."

In these past two yrs, i hv experienced gr8 things- from enjoying hostel life to living in a isolated home for 8 mnths,i got to knw abt myself, met different peoples,bt the most important thing is i started believing in God, became less religious and more spiritual.my journey in this world has been different from others, n i will always try to let it be different, i am proud of me being passionate, humble n gud to others. i always believed that ppl whom i become close always leave me alone but nw i sensed that GOD doesnt want me to get close to anyone as my life is not mine, its for the well being of the needy ones, to listen to my grievances, GOD has chosen himself. i always used to hate me but i didnt knew that by doing so, i am insulting the all mighty's creation, loving urself is loving GOD.my problem is i always transform into a robot and give the remote controls to others, but they dont knw dat by doing so,i am being a mediator between them and god, if they misuse me, they are punished by nature or if they dunt, they get blessed. at this moment, i may luk mad but i am feeling very closed to GOD, i am sharing wid u all what i am feeling!everyone can hate me, luv me, disrespect me but i will always luv everyone, i will be always there for evryone becoz there is GOD in evryone in the form of gudness! i dont belong to this practical world,i may be hurt many times becoz of my honesty, kindness and humanity but its never between me n others, its between me n GOD.many of us follow da trend of studying, making career, earning money, prestige in society, having all amenities in lyf and life moves on, what we give to this world, i may be called a failure if i dont follow dis trend but at least i may be a great human

RAHUL GANDHI- the traitor within
I respect rahul gandhi a lot, he charms me and is one of the greatest leader of india now BUT when we see it using our mind, then rahul gandhi is not working for the people but for congress benefits, he is now in politics for more than 5 yrs, before he came, congress was out of power and not so strong, he came and started doing tours to villages, eating with dalits, living with them, we felt he is the man we need but he didnt took up any post in government, so the government remained same as it was without him,old congressmens!and change cant come through this government because if it was so, then congress is in power for 60 yrs and we see the condition of indian politics!
secondaly, when there was electricity shortage in his mp area, he said wait till 2012 and vote for congress, why he didnt went for a movement?
Thirdly he talks about simplicity, his last trip to hyderabad costed 1cr to congress, he has membership of 2 five star gyms and a personal go karting track, is this shows that he doesn't live like a king?
He is working for congress not for country at this time, in his era, tickets to youth have been given but they all are sons and daughters of former VIPs,if he really wants change, then people running government should change, although there profile may look charming but thay are the same like those who have been running the country for last 60yrs
It doesnt mean that others are better than rahul gandhi but this better option is not up to the mark, we have to find a better alternative,i am working to form a party that selects its candidate by public voting, just like in usa, it will be called democratic party of india, PLZ SEARCH INDIAN DEMOCRATS IN ORKUT & FACEBOOK
